Classic Motorcycle Tours of Scotland - NEW for 2004

New for 2004 are classic motorcycle tours of Scotland. These fantastic tours start at the Pannanich Wells Hotel in Ballater, Royal Deeside. Ride the highs, lows and bends of our quiet Scottish roads on a British classic 1960's motorbike! All bikes are brought up to modern day standards and some are equipped with full fairing and panniers. Ride the uncluttered roads of the beautiful North East corner of Scotland visiting distilleries, such as Lochnager and Tomintoul, Balmoral Castle, Culloden battlefield and experience the most breathtaking scenery imaginable. Each day a special tour has been designed to give the most pleasure to the rider as the winding roads unfold. The motorbikes used include: the famous Norton '99 Deluxe, Triumph Tiger 110, BSA A10 Road Rockets, etc. Plus, you will stay bed and breakfast at the historic Pannanich Wells Hotel. So sit back, relax and enjoy a malt in the bar while talking to the locals and the next morning hop on your motorbike for the experience of a lifetime!

These tours can be tailored to fit your requirements but the basic tours are:
4 nights stay with 2 days touring
6 nights stay with 4 days touring
All tours start on a Sunday
The first ride, a familiarization trip, starts 10am Monday morning
Rides are full days returning to the hotel not later than 5pm

Costs include:
Bed and Breakfast Hotel accommodations at Pannanich Wells for 4 or 6 nights

About the Hotel:
Pannaninch Wells is a small historic hotel built in 1760, situated in a rural position overlooking the beautiful Dee Valley. This is the same hotel where Queen Victoria met John Brown, when he was working as a stable boy. This is the perfect area for sightseeing and activities. The hotel has 5 ensuite rooms plus 2 self-catering cottages. The hotel is open from April - October and the cottages are available all year long.
