Day 1
Arrival in Edinburgh and transfer to your Hotel Accommodation.
Rest of the day leisure to explore the capital

Day 2
Depart Edinburgh in the direction of St Andrews.
Visit St Andrews Cathedral, the Castle and the old renowned University, as well as the famous "Old Golf Course".
Cross the river Tay to Dundee on the way to the legendary Scottish Glamis Castle.
Continue north, on to Tomintoul, where you be staying in the Hotel Gordon.
(The Hotel Gordon is your accommodation for the following 4 days, including breakfast & dinner)

Day 3
Drive North via Grantown on Spey and Nairn to Beauly,
The journey continues via Dingwall to Dornoch, where you can visit the Dunrobin Castle.
Visit to Dornoch Castle
Return to Hotel for overnight

Day 4
Today we drive south to Crathie
Visit to Balmoral Castle. (Between August and September when the Queen is in residence we visit Braemar Castle)
Continue onto Ballater and Kildrummy, where we visit the ruins of a Palace from the 13th Century
Our tour takes us to Dufftown, where you have the chance to visit a typical Malt Whisky Distillery (Glenfiddich Distillery) and taste the national Scottish drink.
Return to hotel for overnight

Day 5
Travel North to Inverness
Visit to Legendary Loch Ness and Boat Cruise
Visit the Castle Ruins of Urquhart Castle
Continue to Spean Bridge, along Loch Laggan through the Spey Valley.
Drive from Aviemore with the Strathspey Steam Railway through the little village of Boat of Garden prior your return to your Hotel accommodation.

Day 6
Today visit Bruar with a fabulous view of their magnificent waterfalls.
We continue to the House of Bruar where you have a little time at leisure for shopping or sightseeing.
The next stop is in Blair Atholl, where you can visit Blair Castle.
Finish the day in Edinburgh with a sightseeing tour and visit to Edinburgh Castle

Day 7
Transfer from Hotel to Airport.

Edinburgh Extension:
It is possible to extend your stay in Edinburgh pre or post tour at the Learmonth Hotel.
