Boltongate
Old Rectory - Boltongate, Cumbria - 12 miles north of Keswick
This elegant country home is situated in the beautiful Ellen Valley,
an excellent location for exploring Wordsworth country, the Northern
and Western Lakeland and the Scottish Borders. The Pele Tower,
built in 1430 is now a comfortable and peaceful study, the 17th
century dining room with inglenook fireplace is the perfect setting
to enjoy a candlelit dinner. Bedrooms are in the nineteenth century
addition and have splendid views of the valley. Croquet can be
played on the lawns and the renowned SIlloth Golf Course is twelve

Dryderdale
Hall - Hamsterley, Bishop Auckland, Durham - 12 miles northwest
of Bishop Auckland
Dryderdale Hall is a beautiful Grade II listed Victorian country
house situated in nineteen acres of parkland with stream and ponds
and various walks. It offers an escape from everyday life. The
Hall and grounds were featured in the 1971 film 'Get Carter' starring
Michael Caine and has a wealth of history. All bedrooms are comfortably
furnished and have color TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
Guests have their own parking area and entrance, offering complete
freedom of movement.

End
Cottage - Wass, York, Yorkshire - 20 miles north of York
End Cottage has recently been extended into a comfortable house
while retaining its original character. There is a large flower
garden, sun house and a croquet lawn. Situated on the southern
edge of the small village of Wass in the National Park, the house
is only a five minute walk from the twelfth century ruin of Byland
Abbey. The owners, who have lived elsewhere in Europe and in North
America, welcome visitors and can advise on visits to York and
the many other places of historical interest nearby.

Holgate
Head - Kirkby Malham, Skipton, Yorkshire - 10 miles northwest
of Skipton
Holgate Head is a fine stone built house, part of which dates
back to the seventeenth century. The house stands in three acres
of garden and woodland with fine views over the Malhamdale countryside
in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. John is a wine importer
and Christine is an excellent cook. They both enjoy meeting people
from around the world who appreciate the pleasures of good food
and wine in luxurious surroundings.

Ivesley
- Waterhouses, Durham - 6 miles west of Durham
Ivesley is a two hundred acre farm centered on the house and equestrian
centre. Its avenue of beech trees date from the 1350's, planted
to mark the end of the Black Death of 1348. Ivesley is a very
attractive country house, decorated to a high standard. Guests
will be assured of a warm welcome, good food and wine and a comfortable
stay. You can enjoy superb views over lovely countryside yet be
only a short drive from medieval Durham City with its famed cathedral
and university. Other local attractions include Corbridge and
Hadrian's Roman Wall and Europe's largest shopping mall - the
Metro Centre.
